It’s had a high quality LPG conversion done complete with valve seats protection fitted. At current durham lpg station prices ( 58ppl with 9p off), I filled up from 280 miles and I paid £25. The gas system automatically switches over [from petrol] after the engine warms up and switches back if you run out. I’ve had LPG cars for 8 years and they are no trouble at all. So simple- tank, pipes, filter, actuator and injectors. God I love this car. It’s been part of the family for a few years and it’s wanted for nothing. Full Service History. Including a little one done last week. I’m only selling due to a change in personal circumstances. 4 recent tyres fitted. Sails through the MOT’s. 7 months MOT left. No tax due to new laws. Foz has currently got 103k miles which will increase slightly as it’s still in use. Late last year it’s had a new clutch fitted. Gearbox and steering are still tight. It has a permanent 4 wheel drive system. It has the winter pack fitted. This includes fog lights, double sunroof (winter pack?!), arm rests and heated seats. The seats are still in great condition. It’s had a new td04 turbo, deCat stainless steel exhaust and appropriate 99/00 impreza ecu before being remapped by specialised Subaru tuner Andy Forrest (google Andy Forrest performance) to further enhance the fuel, performance and safety of the vehicle. I haven’t had it rolling road, but with those enhancements, 270-280 bhp is assumed. Downsides? age-related tiny parking dings and the wheels could do with a refurb. An amazingly practical, safe, powerful, economical ‘ticks all the boxes’ motor available for less than a weeks holiday to Mauritius that will last for years. Look at how many there are on the roads.
